Another handy little gadget.  I always lose my keys – but the thing is I lose them in my purse. I think there’s about nine compartments and I can never remember which one I put my keys in.  So this little gadget helps me.  When I first received it in the mail I initially thought that it would be a waste of time for me. But that was a month ago and since then I have used the app on my phone to find my keys several times and very much appreciated having it.  Made things much simpler.

Do I really use it to it’s full advantage?  No, I don’t.  That’s not to say I won’t –  haven’t taken the time to figure it all out. So today is the day and I am going to share what I learn here on my blog.

Things I like about the Smart Key Finder iHere Gen 3.0

  • It works on my iPhone and if I had an iPad or an iPod touch or an Android
  • Its rechargeable and lasts for several weeks – I can attest to that because I charged mine over a month ago and it is still charged.
  • It was easy to set up – actually it almost did it by itself.
  • Helps me find my keys – as long as they’re within 75 feet
  • I like the fact there is an easy set up manual online that even I can follow. iHere User Manual

What I haven’t used iHere Gen 3.0 for

  • The “find your phone” – I haven’t set it up yet and that would be helpful as well – It would prevent me from having to call my phone from another to locate it. Doesn’t happen often but often enough to be annoying.
  • The “how to find your car” – I also have the “Zus” so can use it if I can’t locate my car in a parking lot. The Zus has been turned over to my husband to use in his truck for recharging our iPhones since we don’t have any USB connections in the truck.
  • Remote camera shutter – this will be helpful once I get it set up – taking pictures of a group or “selfie”
  • Remote voice recordings – Not sure if this is something I need but like all features once a person gets used to using them they become necessary.

Reviews

I did look up the reviews on Amazon and for the most part people are happy with the iHere Gen 3.0 and the ratings are high. There’s been problems with connections which I haven’t found yet. All in all I like it and will definitely use it and look forward to teaching myself how to use the other features the Smart Key Finder iHere Gen 3.0 offers.  Would I buy it? Probably.
