We are looking for one to two couples to volunteer at our RV Park for the 2020 season as our Seasonal Camp Hosts. We would require a commitment from approximately June 20 through the first weekend in September. Must provide own self-contained RV.
Telegraph Cove is known world wide for whale watching, bear watching, kayaking, fishing and hiking. Spend your days off exploring the North Island or taking in nature like you’ve never seen it!
In exchange for your service, you would receive:

- • RV Site with full hookups – Water, Sewer and 30 amp Electricity (Value: $3,042)
- • Laundry coins provided for your use in our laundromat (Value: $176)
- • Wifi for 2 devices through Ragged Edge Internet (Value $135)
- • 2 full days off per week
- • 20-24’ moorage (Value: $2800)
General Duties:
- • Work and live in the RV Park
- • Be available to guests 5 days per week
- • Greet visitors and make them feel welcome
- • Notify management when emergencies arise or when activities within the RV park warrant this
- • Maintain tidy RV Park grounds
- • Keep area around fire pits clean and uncluttered, enforce fire ban if in effect
- • Maintain a tidy host site
- • Water various planters and trees in RV park using provided hose
- • Ensure guests find their assigned site
- • Spot for guests as they back up RVs so they don’t hit water/electric stands
- • Make change for guests that require loonies for showers or laundry
- • Ensure guests check out on time
- • Check for damage to site as guests leave
- • Help guests with water, sewer and power hooks ups if they are having trouble
- • Answer questions, receive comments and be readily accessible
- • Represent Telegraph Cove Marina & RV Park as a contact point for guests
- • Clean washrooms and showers once per day
- • Check washrooms twice a day for cleanliness, stock as necessary
